Menu is Done!

Ok... I am getting pretty excited! We are now just 3 weeks away! And I just turned in our menu to the caterer! Wanna know what we're having? Keep reading!

Our Retreat Blog has been quite busy! But, I don't think everyone checks it, so from this point on, I am going to be sure to send anything really important by email, too!

Couple of things to know (actually, I am just thinking out loud!)
  • Coffee available all day (as long as we have coffee drinkers!)
  • Also available, sugar, sugar substitute and packaged plain creamer, so if you are a coffee drinker and you want flavored creamer, be sure and bring your own.
  • Iced tea, unsweetened and sugar-free sweetened, available all day.
  • Plates, silverware, cups, glasses, ice, napkins, paper towels, salt and pepper (if you think of anything I've missed, regarding the eating area, let me know... PLEASE!)
  • I will have a large coffee pot and carafes to keep it hot
  • Unlimited ice
  • There is a full kitchen available, which is right next to our crop room
  • (what am I missing????)
Here is the menu I have turned in to the caterer. I know there is no way to please everyone, so I hope you can find something you'll enjoy! (everything is home-cooked... no instant mashed potatoes for us!)

If you are registered to arrive on Thursday, please wait until 1pm so the hotel will have enough time to get the room set up. If you have registered for the 2-night package and you'd like to get there before 1:00 on Friday, you are certainly welcome to do so. And if you'd like to include lunch, just let me know and for $6.00, I can add you on to the list. AND, if your plans change and you'd like to add another night, I still have time to do that. Just give me a call or send me an email. I have turned preliminary numbers in, but I can change those up to the Friday before our retreat.

Everything will be served buffet style and there will be a separate eating area from your scrapbooking area. This area will be open and available through the entire event. It is in the same room.

Breakfast will be served at 7:30 am,

Lunch will be served at noon, and
Dinner will be served at 5:00 pm.

I am the busboy, so any help will be appreciated!!!

Counting down til the RETREAT!

  1. It all sounds great!! I think I just gained five pounds reading the menu. I had a great homemade snack yesterday at our reunion and can't wait to try it on you girls. BUT..I will be bringing something from each category. Probably soda of some kind, something bought and of course CHOCOLATE.
